
Classic Cars at Corvette Show
Adds to Weekend Dairy Festival

With 34 entries in the Dairy Festival Classic Corvette Show, on Saturday, organizers termed the show a "success!" "We had some great cars and a large attendance of people on Saturday afternoon," expressed Danny Durham, one of the local event organizers. "Everyone was impressed by the beautiful classic cars and braved the heat to come out and 'dream' about owning one!"
Winners in Saturday's show included:
Grand Prize Winner was: Paul Pruett (Winner of a $250.00 Drawing) and 1st Prize in (1963-1967) category.
Gerry and Linda Boren of Rockwall (Winners of $100.00 Drawing) winner of the 1960 Convertible Class.

Brenda and David Mault,of Coahoma, Texas, won the prize for having driven the fartherest, over 350 miles from their home in the Texas Panhandle.
"The car owners enjoyed participating in Saturday's parade and the show will do nothing but grow, as more and more people learn about the hospitality in Hopkins County," expressed Durham. "They all enjoyed going and eating ice cream!"
