
Cherry Grove Baptist Church Hosts
First Annual Tea, Saturday
Pastor Randy Seals and First Lady Theresa Seals were guests of honor, as they hosted the First Annual Cherry Grove Baptist Church Women's Ministry Tea Party, on Saturday, November 13th, at Holiday Inn Express Conference Center. Approximately 50 women from the Hopkins County Community attended the formal affair and shared in this year's theme of "Set The Atmosphere."
Registration began at 9:00 a.m. with a "get acquainted" session to follow. The actual tea began at 10:30 a.m. with special entertainment from the Cherry Grove Praise Team, that included scripture readings and a praise team dance.

Speaker of the Hour was Minster Baker, who spoke on the theme of "Setting the Atmosphere for Dynamic Leadership and Community Service."

Those present enjoyed tea and a variety of delicious accompaniments, as they visited with friends, neighbors, and made new introductions.

"We had such a successful morning, that I'm certain we'll do it again," advised Cherry Grove Member Rekayla Pryor. "Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the message of encouragement from our keynote address!"
Among the treats offered were: Pumpkins Bread, Apple Streusel Muffins, tea sandwiches, Spinach dip, Broccoli Cheese Spread, assorted cheese balls, Lemon Bars, Macadamia Macaroons, Red Velvet Cake, seasonal fruits with caramel and orange dip. The main course featured Parmesan Crusted Chicken in Cream Sauce, steamed rice, green beans with bacon, Banana Pudding Parfaits, and Lemonade.
