"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown"
Opens Thursday Night, at TAMU-C Theater

For all area kids and those who are "kids" at heart, it's a great opportunity to see this summer's TAMU-C Theater Department's Production of "Your A Good Man, Charlie Brown." The production opens on Thursday night, July 1st, with continued performances on July 2nd, July 3rd, July 8th, July 9th, and July 10th at 7:00 p.m., nightly. There will also be two matinee performances scheduled for Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 11th, at 3:00 p.m. All performance are in the TAMU-C Playhouse.

The production will feature local children and teens, ranging in age from 7-18, and will be directed by TAMU-C Graduate Student, Kelsey Cooper.

"Readers all over the world followed Charles Shultz's 'Peanuts' comic strip for decades," expressed Jim Anderson, TAMU-C Department Head of Mass Media-Theater-Communications. "'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' writers, John Gordon and Clark Gesner, have captured the same innocent, sometime michievous, and always adventurous world of childhood, with this play. It's an excellent work to teach children theater and some of life's early lessons."

Tickets for the performances are $3.00 for students and children and $8.00 for senior citizen's 65 and over, and $10.00 for adults. Due to the summer construction on campus and other activities, limited parking is available, so it is advised that patrons arrive early for the shows.
