Fun at the Carnival
Carnival Opens For Four Days, Wednesday Night
by: Bobby McDonald
For the youth of the greater Hopkins County area, fun began on Wednesday night, as the Triple-T Amusement Company carnival moved into town and opened for a four-day run, as a part of the Hopkins County Fall Festival. It's every kid's dream to go to the carnival and many took advantage of opening night. There were slides, swings, turning rides, and a host of others that involved haunted houses and games of chance. Then, there is the proverbial "carnival food".....fresh squeeze lemonade, funnel cakes, corny dogs, cotton candy, and peanuts. It's all available at the carnival in Sulphur Springs.
Armbands are available to purchase for an entire night of fun, and can be purchased at the carnival grounds. The carnival is open from 6:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., nightly, and big part of our annual Fall Festival celebration. If you don't believe it, just ask one of the kids!
