In one of the most exciting games of Friday's line-up was this game between the Roxton Lions and
the CHESS Knights, in which the Chess team led most of the game, and a scoring streak in the
fourth quarter allowed Roxton to win the game by a two point -shot in the last minute of the game,
taking the victory 63-61.

Following Friday's complete day of basketball action at the Cap Herman Memorial Tournament, in Sulphur Bluff, the Sulphur Bluff Lady Bears were headed to the Championships on Saturday night, where they will meet the Lady Patriots of Prairieland. However, a disappointing loss to the Prairieland Patriots, on Friday night, forced the Sulphur Bluff Bears to be playing for third place, as they will face the CHESS Knights in action.
One of the more remarkable games of the entire tournament was played on Friday night in the match-up between the Roxton Lions and the Chess Knights. The Knights led the match-up through three quarters of intense basketball action, only to lose the game in the last minute of play in a 63-62 decision. This pitted the Roxton Lions against the Prairieland Patriots for the Championship on Saturday night!
