Lost Camera Found by Lake Fork
Fisherman Over Weekend

Sometimes we hear all the bad news about things going on in this world! But, on Monday morning, some good news was awaiting Sulphur Springs Veterinarian Ramey Jisha, as she arrived at work. A lady called her and reported that the camera, that was lost in the accident, on December 15, 2008, had been found by a Lake Fork fisherman, over the weekend. The camera contained pictures from her daughter's life, and the child had perished in the accident.

Ramey Jisha reported that she couldn't hardly believe her ears, when the woman called!

Leslie Wood, who lives near Cedar Creek Lake, had opted because of the rain, to fish from the bank, on Friday morning. As he was fishing near the west end of the 515 Bridge, he noticed something on the bank nearby. He picked up the bag and noticed that it was a camera, and decided to bring it back with him, when he completed his fishing for the day. He knew nothing about the lost camera, but that night was talking to his friend, Tom Evans, from Yantis.

Tom mentioned that you could "almost have a garage sale from the items that were scattered along the lake, beside the highway" and Wood made the comment that "he believed it, because he had found a camera, just that day!" Well, Tom Evans had seen the advertisement for the lost camera on the website and immediately thought of the plea for the missing camera, from the wreckage.

Tom called a friend from Sulphur Springs and he immediately found a way to contact Ramey and Kent Jisha at the office of Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic. Thus, the call was awaiting Ramey when she arrived at work on Monday morning!

"It was just a God-thing, with all the channels that this thing has gone through," related Tom Evans. "My friend, Leslie, knew nothing about the missing camera, and just happened to see it laying beside the lake, on the opposite end of the bridge, from where the accident happened!"

Ramey Jisha called her husband, Kent, and he immediately went to the Evans home and retrieved the missing camera. Through contacts, Ramey Jisha determined that the best place to deliver the camera and card was  a forensic lab in Arlington. She immediately contacted them and over-nighted the contents to them. "They said they would know if the information on the card is retrievable by possibly tomorrow afternoon!" advised Ramey Jisha, on Monday afternoon. "The camera bag had come open, but the camera, with the card in it, was still in the bag. There was sand and dirt all in the bag and camera, but I'm still hopeful that the information on the camera card can be lifted from it!"

Prayers have been answered that the camera would be found for the Jisha family, so this is asking everyone to pray that the information on the camera card has not been destroyed! Say an extra prayer for Kent and Ramey!
