The arena of the Hopkins County Civic Center was "full of action" on Tuesday night, when the Young Farmers hosted their annual Fall Festival Calf Scramble. Youth of all ages, as well as the Cover Girl Contestants, participated in the event.

"Anytime you have a bunch of kids and a bunch of calves, anything can happen!" expressed one of the Young Farmers, following one of the Cover Girl contestants, being "run over" by a calf. "You 'hate it' but everyone knows those things happen, and we're thankful that no one was hurt seriously!"

Reports on Wednesday morning revealed that Hilary Harrington, Cover Girl Contestant #1, was not seriously hurt, but bruised and awfully sore. She was taken to the emergency room at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, to make certain that she wasn't seriously injured.

The following youth were named winners in each of the categories:

In the 8 and Under category, it was left to right, Chloe Kennedy, 3rd place, Ty Stroud, 2nd place,
and Matt Krump, winning the grand prize.

Winners in the 9-10 Division, included left to right, 3rd place, Precious Williams,
Drake Smith, 2nd place, and 1st place Macy Merrell.

In the 11-12 age division, it was left to right, Lydia Black 3rd place, Abby Darden 2nd place,
and Clancy Horton, who won 1st place.
