"A County Buried Beneath the Snow"

Hopkins County was literally buried beneath a covering of  and over an 8" thickness of snow, on Friday morning, as residents awakened to the unusual occurrence and began coping with life! There was no school for most children, workers were calling-in to report they were going to be late, and the streets and roads throughout the county were covered with inches of snow from overnight!

"It's a beautiful winter wonderland, that we only have the opportunity to experience about once every 15 years!" exclaimed one positive resident. "I'm going to get out and make the most of it!"

However, on the negative side, there was one dairy farmer that was already thinking about the addition of just that much more mud, to the already unbearable conditions. "Can you imagine what it's going to be like when all of this melts?" he questioned. "We were already living in a quagmire!"
