playing baseball for Texarkana College, was named All-Conference Region XIV.

Former Wildcat Named To All-Conference Team

Folks in Hopkins County will be pleased to know and not surprised that former Sulphur Springs Wildcat (Class of 2008), Brittan Diamond, has been named as one of seven players from his Texarkana College Baseball Squad, to All-Conference honors, for Region XIV, East Zone.

Diamond, a Sulphur Springs sophomore, hit .309, with four home runs and 19 RBIs, this season.

Texarkana College landed Diamond and six others: Matt Lakie, Tanner Bailey, Justin Parsons, Nick Fogarty, Jordy Snikeris, and Austin Atwell, all on the All-Conference Team.
