Local Author to Release New Christian Book,
April 17th

 

 

Sonja Rowland Bolton announces the release of her newest book, Under His Wing-An Anthology of God’s Provision & Grace.  Mrs. Bolton is an elementary teacher in Sulphur Springs, Texas and an adjunct instructor for Paris Junior College. She loves to paint, cook, and travel with her family.

Sonja was the author of the feature column “Under His Wing” for the Baptist Missionary Association of Texas web page. She has also shared God’s blessings as a guest speaker at various ladies’ fellowships.

A 1980 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, she is married to her high school sweetheart and husband of twenty-nine years, Terry Bolton, pastor of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Winnsboro, Texas.  They are the parents of three daughters, Chainie and her husband Jason Collins, Chelbie, Cherish, and one grandson, William Tucker Collins.  Sonja is also the daughter of Betty Edwards of Sulphur Springs and former 8th District Court Reporter Jimmy Rowland of Purley, Texas.

She will be having a book release and signing at the Good News! Christian Bookstore on Saturday, April 17th.
