Donates to 2010 Lights of Life Gala

"A Date With Jake" Up For Auction

 

 

Memorial Medical Plaza Conference Room, November 4, 2009 -  BIG NEWS will be announced to the gala committee members at the next Lights of Life Gala meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 12:00noon in the Plaza Conference room.  ABC’s next Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, has donated to the 2010 Gala.  “We are ecstatic says Jackie Thornton, Foundation Director.  “We think offering a “Date with Jake” as one of our live auction items will create some competitive and exciting bidding among our guests.  The best news is that you do not have to attend the gala to get in on the bidding.  Call me at the Health Care Foundation to get more information about submitting a bid that will be honored at the gala.  Because the new season of the “Bachelor” kicks off in mid January, Jake hasn’t been able to confirm his attendance at the gala.  However he was excited to make a donation to the gala when approached.  Special thanks go to Aaron Evans, of Eddie Deen for helping us secure Jake’s donation” said Thornton. 

Thornton also warned everyone that she'd already started saving her "dollars" and would be a contending bidder for this date, as she was sure that she could convince Jake that he needed to choose his future bride from right here in Northeast Texas!
