A reminder that the ART Region of Texas meets next Tuesday, November 2nd, at 1:30pm in Clarksville.  They will meet at the Chamber of Commerce, located at 101 N Locust (just off the Square), in Clarksville.

The organization has moved ahead with their website.  Mt Vernon and Paris are up and running + the Artist Data Bank is rapidly taking shape.  Pictures are more numerous, and, yes this has stirred membership into action concerning images.  Keep images coming,-----it adds interest and freshness to the site. 

Another decision that will be made is moving ahead with information on those communities that do not, as yet, have their representative material up on their community section of the ART website.  Pre-existing verbage is better than nothing, but the organization needs to know that they do want to be represented before trying to move ahead.

Bring your energy, ideas and dues (community).  Packets of non-profit material/by-laws and a dues statement will be available for those who have not, yet, gotten them.  Members need to develop a slate for Board of Directors, so for Communities with multiple representatives, don't forget to make "community representative" decisions. 

Donna McFarland has agreed to Chair the Marketing Committee, and is working on some logo ideas for the ART.  If you have a logo idea, feel free to bring it to the meeting and we will work towards a decision on what signage we want to represent us.
