ALLIANCE BANK EARNS SILVER AND BRONZE IN BEST OF COMMUNITY BANKING JUDGING

              Alliance Bank of Sulphur Springs was awarded silver and bronze medals during judging for the annual Best of Community Banking Awards, the sponsoring Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) announced.

              A panel of independent judges selected the bank’s entries in Financial Literacy and Marketing.  Officials of the bank were on hand to accept the awards during the 35th annual IBAT convention in San Antonio in October.

              The Silver Medal was awarded in the Financial Literacy category for developing a Junior Advisory Committee, by Linda Galligher, Senior Vice President and Kevin Monk, Senior Vice President, to educate students on the banking industry and overall financial matters.

              The Bronze medal for Marketing recognized a media campaign for “Freedom Checking”, developed and promoted by Senior Vice President of Marketing, Jake Caddell.

              The Best of Community Banking Awards recognize IBAT banks for outstanding service in the areas of financial literacy, marketing, architectural design and community service.  IBAT represents more than 2,000 Texas-based banks and branches in 700 communities.
