Local AARP Meets and
Hears Program on Heritage Museum

 

 

The local AARP held their monthly meeting at the Senior Citizens Center on Monday, September 14, 2009.    Barbara Shelton with the Hopkins County Heritage Park and Society gave an informative presentation about all the buildings at the Hopkins County Historical Museum and Heritage Park.   

The next big event that will take place at Heritage Park is on Saturday, October 3rd when they will have "Indian Summer Day's" and the "5th Annual John Chester Dutch Oven Cook-Off" from 9:00 - 2:00.  Admission will be $3.00.   Heritage Park is open Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 - 2:00 regular admission is $ 2.00
