Conference to Honor Citizens

Hopkins County citizens will be honored at the 6th Annual Clara Bridges Senior Citizens Appreciation Luncheon, to be held  Saturday, June 26th, 2010, at the Harrison Grays Memorial Building, in Pacific Park. The luncheon will be hosted at 11:30 a.m., and will recognize outstanding citizens in the greater Hopkins County area.

Keynote speaker for this year's event will be Sister Lucy Pfifer, an outstanding leader in her own rite.

This year's honorees include: Juanita Barret, Grace Bohannon, Clara Bridges, Mandie Beard, Bill Bradford, Walt Dingman, Ammie Askew Pruitt, Eva Kennedy, Eva Mae Falls, Juddie Malone, Leisure Minter, Margaret Glossup, Lucille Reese, Susie Williams, Helen Kendricks, and Bertha Williams.

 

 

"It's great to be able to recognize these outstanding individuals for their years of service to Hopkins County," expressed Amye Smith, coordinator for the program. "We want to invite everyone out to support these citizens and give them the recognition they so richly deserve."
