Sulphur Springs Wildcats Got "Denied"

And Suffered A

47-44 Loss Against Kilgore

The Sulphur Springs Wildcats have once again gave their fans an exciting game! As they faced off against Kilgore in a tough match.

 

Sulphur Springs played hardcore basketball, they hustled up and down the court and dove for every single loose ball, but for the Wildcats that wasn't enough. Kilgore had their mind set to win this game and they did anything possible to take this win back to their hometown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the first half of the game Sulphur Springs was behind. Kilgore in the first period took a 14-8 lead and they maintained this lead until the second period. It took awhile for the Wildcats to "wake up" and play some basketball. The second period wake up call, helped the Wildcats get into the game and end the first half with a close 20-18.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the second half of the game, things started to heat up! It was a neck and neck game, both teams were going all out and their hard work was paying off. Kilgore still had a 2 point lead and Sulphur Springs wasn't going to let them get a bigger lead. The Wildcats would end the 3rd period 30-28. On the last period, everything went out of control. The fans were up on their feet the entire time, a good play or a point meant cheering and screaming. Sulphur Springs and Kilgore were giving in their all, but at the end Kilgore prevailed and the Wildcats would suffer a 47-44 Loss.
