Do you remember back in your days, when you were in school and you just couldn't wait for the Christmas break to start? Well personally I surely do! and for the Hopkins County Students, the long wait has come to an end. Christmas is just around the corner and the first semester of the school year is about to be over and many kids all around Hopkins County are excited for the big day!!

The Como-Pickton 2nd grade students have already got themselves in the Christmas spirit and and are ready for the Christmas break. They have created creative gingerbread houses, filled with color and delicious candies, but it is not all about creating it. How about eating the candy? A C-P student confessed to me that he ate half his candies before he even started on his project. Well who are we to blame? With those delicious treats who wouldn't resist having just a single bite.

The students started off from scratch. First they formed the house, then started adding frosting to every single square inch, later they started adding the candy to make their houses look brilliantly tasteful. I asked a student if it was hard and this is what she answered. "It wasn't hard, the only hard part about it was stopping myself from eating it."
