7-Layer Dinner Perfect For

Are you busy running from ball games, to work, to the cleaners, to church activities? All of us lead a busy, busy lifestyle and are looking for meals that are easy to prepare, have the minimum amount of clean-up, and ready quickly, aren't we?

Well, try this delicious combination of some of the products that are available at your local grocer or farmer's market and that is easy to prepare. Add a salad and possibly some bread, and you have the dinner meal ready in just a short time, and can get some of those chores done while it cooks.

7-Layer Dinner

oil a 9 x 13 inch pan

Layer the following ingredients in the pan, salt and peppering each layer to taste

2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced

2 carrots, peeled and sliced

1 pound of ground beef, crumbled raw over the vegetables

1 medium onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 diced tomato chopped

Cook in a 375 degree oven, for one hour.
Add your favorite grated cheese and melt in the oven for 5 minutes more,
and you have your meal complete!!!
