Bullfighters and Bulls Were Top Winners
in Saturday Night's 2nd Round of PBR
by: Bobby McDonald

The bulls were some of the rankest! The bullfighters had to be "on their toes" throughout the performance! And, only one rider, Colby Yates, who has connections to Sulphur Springs, managed to make the 8 second qualifying ride, as the second night of PBR action unfolded, before a large crowd of fans, in the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center Arena, Saturday night!
It was an action-packed night full of excitement and tough, tough competition!
With names like "Last Resort," "Live Wire," " Lil Wayne," "Jed Clampit," "Wild Child," "Where's the Whiskey," and "Pearl Jam," the bulls of PBR definitely "bested" the cowboys, as Colby Yates was the only cowboy to score during the PBR performance, with a 78 point ride.
This youth "holds on tight" for his ride in the Mini Bull segment of the Saturday night show.
Then, the North American Mini Bull Tour, featuring youth from 7-14 years of age, provided another round of excitement, as the future PBR riders of the sport, brought their own excitement to the arena. Two young men, Houston Sheets of Aurora, Texas, and Montana Morgan, of Thackerville, Oklahoma, managed to score 68 and 64 points to take the lead in that competition.
Meanwhile, the stars of the show, were the PBF Bullfighters, who did an outstanding job of their own, protecting cowboys in the arena, fighting bulls, and providing the ending "Bullfighters-Extreme Bull Sport" demonstration of bullfighting!
It was two nights of special entertainment in Hopkins County, that has fans already anticipating the return of the 2011 event!
