A Funeral service for Bennie Booth age 80, of Irving, TX will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 4:00PM on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Tapp Funeral Home.
Bennie Booth passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Avante Rehab Center in Irving, TX.
She was born February 11, 1940 in Sugar Hill, TX, the daughter of Andrew Penny and Lena Logan Penny. Mrs. Booth was a housewife all of her married life.
Survivors include daughters: Jeanette Atteberry and husband, David, Diane Atteberry, Barbara Starek and husband, Kim and Fredda Hamby and husband, Clint, Sr.; Grandchildren: Joshua and Ana Atteberry, Justin and Kari Atteberry, Chad Atteberry, Chris Atteberry, Stephanie and Ty Wilkins, Kelly and Freddie Guandique, Shelly and Wes Hall, Kyle and Ashley Starek, Ashley and Zach Brauher and Clint, Jr. and Keeli Hamby; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Lena Penny; husband, Wilburn Ray Booth; sisters: Linda Penny and Amy DeWitt; brothers: Melvin Penny, Louis Penny and Wilburn Penny.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
