Hopkins County Emergency Management announced eight new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on Wednesday.

There are now 461 total reported cases in Hopkins County and 353 patients are listed as recovered, according to the county.
Seven patients are currently hospitalized in the COVID-19 unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs.
The state dashboard is showing a total of twenty fatalities.
As of 6pm Tuesday, October 13, 2020, a total of 1,171 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
