Hopkins County Emergency Management announced three new cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County on Friday. Three additional fatalities have been added to the state dashboard.

There are now 412 total reported cases in Hopkins County and 323 patients are listed as recovered, according to the county. 
Seven patients are currently hospitalized in the COVID-19 unit at CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs.
The state dashboard is showing a total of eighteen fatalities.

There were 101 positive antigen tests from testing facilities within Hopkins County Oct. 3-9, 202.

*These reflect Hopkins County residents only, will be reported weekly, will not count towards state numbers and will not be shown as “recovered.”

As of 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, a total of 802 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
