DPS Arrests Five from Memphis Travelling on I-30 with Cash and Large Amount of Drugs

DPS arrested five people from Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday morning after discovering drugs and large amounts of cash during an I-30 traffic stop.

The suspects were pulled over for speeding at approximately 7:50 a.m. at mile marker 110.
A probable cause search discovered $28,000 in cash, over 5 ounces of marijuana, 5 Oxycodone pills, a semi-automatic pistol, 3 ecstasy tablets, THC edibles, THC syrup, and a marijuana pipe. $20,000 of the cash was bundled in a ziplock bag.
Cardiss Henderson, 28, is charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Alphonso McCracken, 33, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Money Laundering.
Christina Lee, 25, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Michael Thomas Jr., 32, is charged with Money Laundering.
Cadarrious Bell, 26, is charged with Money Laundering, Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
