Dallas Man Arrested by SSPD After 8 Mile Chase on I-30

Sulphur Springs Police Department arrested a 30 year old Dallas man yesterday after he led them on an 8 mile chase on I-30.

SSPD attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Deante Shelley Wilson at the 114 mile marker. Wilson refused to stop and began throwing items out of the vehicle.

The vehicle was spiked at the 122 mile marker and Wilson pulled over at the 122 exit ramp. 

He is held at Hopkins County Jail and charged with Evading Arrest or Detention.
