Hopkins County Woman Arrested for Trafficking of Person After Allegedly Sexual Abusing Runaway Teen

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 43 year old Saltillo on Sunday on charges related to alleged sexual abuse of a runaway minor.

Romany Michael Ruble allegedly picked up a runaway teenager in West Texas approximately one week ago. Ruble reportedly had a preexisting relationship with the minor.

Ruble brought the minor back to Hopkins County and sexually abused him.

The minor was able to escape ruble and law enforcement was alerted. HCSO completed an investigation and issued a warrant for Ruble’s arrest.

Ruble was arrested at her home in Saltillo on one charge of Trafficking of Persons and transported to Hopkins County Jail.

Ruble is also known as Romany Michael Cathey.
