4th of July Event in Downtown Sulphur Springs Cancelled Due to Spread of COVID-19

From the City of Sulphur Springs:
After much consideration, and in light of the Governor’s recent executive order, Mayor John Sellers has decided to cancel the Independence Day event this weekend on Celebration Plaza. “It’s unfortunate that we need to take these measures, but these are extraordinary times. It’s better to be safe than sorry.” He said. “We are confidant that Hopkins County will continue to thrive during these extraordinary times, physically and economically.”
