After an extended warm and dry period, rain chances return to the forecast today and tonight. However, not everyone will see rainfall. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the day across Central Texas. A complex of storms is expected to approach from the northwest later this evening, bringing greater storm chances to parts of North Texas. A couple strong storms would be possible with this activity, capable of small hail and gusty winds.
