SSPD Assists Rains County Apprehend Catalytic Converter Theft Suspect

Sulphur Springs Police Department assisted the Rains County Sheriff’s Office arrest a suspect involved in the theft of catalytic converters on Friday morning.

The suspect allegedly stole catalytic converters from Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville on Tuesday, June 9th.

Rains County Sheriff’s Office announced that Hunt County Constable Terry Jones, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, the Emory Police Department, the Sulphur Springs Police Department, Deputies Josh McGee and Corey Walker along with Chief Deputy Kurt Fischer assisted in the apprehension of the male suspect at the Best Western in Emory.
