The patients are self-isolating at home and receiving treatment. No other information is known at this time. The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to Hopkins County Emergency Management.

There are 8 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. Five of the previous cases are listed as recovered.

Hopkins County Emergency Management said that 107 cases were performed at the state’s free testing set-up at Hopkins County Civic Center on Friday.

One of the new cases is from the free drive-thru testing. 106 of the 107 test results from that testing have not come in yet, according to HCEM.
