Hopkins County has an 8th confirmed case of COVID-19, according to Hopkins County Emergency Management. This is the 4th confirmed case since May 1st.

The person is self-isolating at and receiving treatment. No other information is known at this time. The Local Health Authority will begin to obtain as much information as possible to protect our community, according to HCEM. 

There are now 4 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. Four of the previous cases are listed as recovered.

Hopkins County businesses that have been allowed to reopen will be able to still serve at 50% occupancy. The 5 cases or less requirements for the 50% occupancy is based on active cases.
