Hopkins County has a 6th confirmed case of COVID-19, according to Hopkins County Emergency Management. HCEM announced the 5th case earlier today.

It is unknown at this time if this case, like the four earlier cases that are listed as recovered, is community spread. This, like the first case reported earlier today, is one of the 3 pending tests in Hopkins County.

Over 80 people were tested at Hopkins County Civic Center yesterday. Those results are expected to come in next week. Testing was for first responders and those with COVID-19 symptoms.

Hopkins County businesses that have been allowed to reopen will be able to still serve at 50% occupancy. The 5 cases or less requirements for the 50% occupancy is based on active cases.
