Private family graveside services for Stanley Wesley Dickey, age 78, of Sulphur Springs will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Visitation will be held during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home.

Stan passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born on July 24, 1941 in Klondike, TX, the son of Emery Dowling Dickey and Lucy Golden Hooten Dickey. He served in the United States Army National Guard and later worked as a truck driver. He married Gloria June Dodd on March 5, 1966 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She survives. Stan enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, June Dickey, he is survived by daughters, Cathy Duffey and husband CJ of Yantis, Jeannie Duffey and husband Marcus of Sulphur Springs, brothers, Irvin Dickey of North Richland Hills, Charley Dickey and wife Paula Sue of Longview, grandchildren, Amanda Diaz, Heather Stogner, Leah Helms, Cody Mize, Lane Phillips, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, LD Dickey and wife Polly, JR Dickey and wife Dorothy, and sister in law, Artha Mae Dickey.
