Bond Set at $2,000,000 for Capital Murder Suspects

Bond has been set at $2,000,000 for each of the suspects arrested for Capital Murder by Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday.

Charlie Cierra Wadley-Hodges, German Manuel-Ibarra, Maximino Manuel-Ibarra, and Jesus Antonio-Hernandez were arrested in connection with the murder of Luis Martin Medina.

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office received a call on Sunday around 2:00 pm from a resident stated that they had located a burned-out vehicle with what they believed to be a body inside it on County Road 1186 in Hopkins County.

HCSO investigators shortly identified the four individuals above as suspects and arrested them in connection with the murder of Medina.

The three male suspects all allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim along with assaulting him at the victim’s residence on Ardis Street in Sulphur Springs, according to arrest reports. The female suspect, Wadley-Hodges, allegedly admitted to being present at the residence during the murder and driving to the location on CR 1186 to pick up two of the suspects. She also allegedly admitted to driving one of the suspects to the hospital for burns sustained while burning the vehicle.

The four suspects are currently held at Hopkins County Jail.
