A family memorial service for Tawnia Winchell, age 51, of Brashear, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2020 at her family’s residence, 647 CR 1158, Brashear, TX 75420. Tawnia passed away peacefully Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her residence.

Tawnia was born on December 3, 1968 in Mesquite, TX to John William Shanks and Angelia (Hawk) Lemon. She married Mark Allen Winchell in Garland, TX in 1984; he preceded her in death. On March 27, 2020, she married Michael Sanderfer in Brashear, TX. Tawnia was a Christian who was loved by many.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Sanderfer of Brashear, TX; daughter, Natasha Clark of Wylie, TX; son, Rowdy Pecos Winchell of Arkansas; mother, Angelia Lemon of Grand Prairie, TX; step-father, Danny Mitch of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Zoey Clark and Mark Allen Winchell; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bernie and Darlene Shoemaker of Brashear, TX.
