Masked Man Robs Main Street Convenience Store Early This Morning

An masked man reportedly robbed the Family Mart convenience store at 1601 Main St. in Sulphur Springs at approximately 1:25 am this morning.

According to Sulphur Springs Police Department, a black male wearing a mask that the cashier presumed to be pantyhose entered the store and demanded cash from the register. The cashier gave the suspect approximately $300 in cash and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect never brandished a weapon but the clerk assumed he was holding a firearm underneath his shirt.
