Genesis 13:18
So Abram moved his tent and came and settled by the oaks of Mamre, which are at Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord.

If you’ve been a Christian for any length of time you’ve heard something said to effect of, “You shouldn’t put God in a box.” This is often mentioned when someone is casting a vision or speaking about faith. The problem with this mindset is that most people don’t have an issue with believing that God can do the impossible, they have trouble believing He can do it through them. As a believer, you can’t take the limits off of God if without taking them off of yourself. There’s only one way to free yourself from the box you’re in and that is to move. After God spoke to Abram, today’s text shows the first thing the he did. Abram packed up and moved. The Bible doesn’t say that God told him to, it simply states that Abram set himself in motion. He took God at His Word and starting moving toward what He saw God had for him. The boundaries he had placed on himself were no longer going to hold him captive. They same should be said for you. When the Lord shows you the great things He has set aside as part of your destiny that vision is going to require you to move far beyond the box or boundaries you’ve set up around you. You can be free from the confines of the life you’re currently living if you’ll begin to move in the direction that the Lord is showing you. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to physically relocate. It simply means that you begin to put your faith in action when it comes to stepping out and moving in the gifts and abilities that He’s built into who you are. Your life can be as limitless as your faith will allow it to be. The Lord will always guide, empower and direct you as long as there is movement on your part. Set your faith in motion and you’ll be amazed where He takes you. There isn’t a box big enough to contain what He has set aside for you. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
