Funeral services for Vera Mae “Jack” Garner, age 95, of Pickton will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ken Goodson officiating.  Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with grandsons and great-grandsons, Steve Brumley, Kevin Brumley, Scott Brumley, Tanner Brumley, Chayton Brumley, Skeet Brumley and Kyle Moore serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time beginning at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Vera passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab.  Vera was born on January 9, 1924 in Sulphur Bluff the daughter of Wesley Baugh and Etta Newton Baugh.  She married Leroy Garner on March 19, 1950 in Oklahoma and he preceded her in death.  Vera was a nurse for over 40 years and of the Assembly of God Faith.  She is survived by her daughter Lana Brumley and husband Gary of Pickton, grandchildren, Steve Brumley, Kevin Brumley and wife Shiloh, Scott Brumley and wife Nilda, great-grandchildren, Skye Brumley and husband Kyle Moore, Tanner Brumley and wife Tori, Chayton Brumley, Skeet Brumley, Mikayla Brumley, Brair Brumley, Dylan Vaughn and wife Meagan, Saxe Peirce, Michael  Vaughn and Marlin McPherson, 12 great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Era Fay “Bill” Jones and sister, Novaline “Bunch” Moore and granddaughter Leslie “Sissy” Brumley.

Memorials may be made to Sulphur Bluff Cemetery, 3490 FM 3389, Brashear, TX 75420.
