Galatians 4:4-5
4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

A lot of discussion, debate, and even arguing has gone into subject of ‘God’s timing’ over the years. Many people accredit the fact of whether or not they received a certain need being met or an answer to a prayer being heard to falling into God’s timing. The truth of the matter is that ‘timing’ as is known by humans is not a factor because God exists outside of time. God doesn’t sit on His thrown up in Heaven with stop watch or timer waiting to answer your prayers when they hit zero. He doesn’t have His blessings scheduled on a Microsoft Office calendar to drop into peoples lives at a certain time of His choosing. People, in an effort to explain something infinite with their finite minds will throw their lack of knowledge back on God’s sovereignty and use the excuse that things happened or didn’t happen because it was or wasn’t in God’s time. God’s ‘timing’ isn’t about time at all, it’s about readiness of the recipient or situation to be able to receive what He is seeking to pour out. In other words, when the conditions meet up with the criteria needed then the answer is automatic. When faith is in place to receive, then the power to change is imparted, resulting in a miracle. Jesus came to Earth when everything lined up with the prophecies that had been spoken concerning Him were fulfilled, not when a cosmic timer wound down to zero. The same was true of His death. When He had fulfilled all of the requirements needed to qualify as the all sufficient sacrifice, He allowed Himself to go to cross. The same will be true of His coming again. You may be in a place of waiting to see certain things come to pass in your life. Don’t fall into the laziness trap of ‘waiting on God’s timing’ for it to happen, therefore and become ineffective because you’re neglecting to be about what God has commanded. Seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance and allow your obedience to mature you to place where you’re able to receive what you’ve been promised. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
