A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs City Council will be held at noon on Friday to address the issues created by the recent sudden resignation of four council members.

The remaining council will discuss and possibly take action on the appointment of a new member to fill one vacant position. The appointment is necessary to allow the council to conduct business until elections can be held in May for the four positions created by the resignations of Norman Sanders, Jimmy Lucas, Erica Armstrong, and Jeff Sanderson.

You can read the full agenda for the special meeting below.
