Bear is the Sulphur Springs Animal Shelter Pet of the Week. Bear is about 8 months old, 40 pounds and was adopted from the shelter as a puppy but no fault of his own was just returned this week due to his family’s circumstances. Bear is fully vetted and microchipped hoping to find a new home quickly because the shelter is at capacity. Our small shelter is just not large enough to keep up with the number of city animals in need of help. Please consider adopting Bear or one of our other deserving animals so they can find a home before the holidays. The shelter is no place to spend Christmas. You can visit them at the Sulphur Springs Animal Shelter which is located at 1313 N. Hillcrest Dr. in front of the airport.
