Acts 20:35
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Everyone has something that God has called them to take notice of. Whether it be a societal issue such as feeding the homeless, or taking care of those who are victims of some kind of abuse or tragedy, there are people who God has given you a desire to share His hope and love with. The Lord needs you to reach and impact them with His power so the Kingdom can manifest in their lives. The challenge that faces everyone equally is not allowing themselves to become so consumed with their own need that they fail to see what God has called them to notice. You must choose to be intentional when it comes to focussing on what God has for you and not allow the concerns of daily life to be a constant distraction. While you may not be able to go all in on what He has for you tomorrow, if you’ll start taking steps in that direction, He will begin opening doors and putting things in place. Bring your concerns to Him but don’t allow them to become the central focus of your prayers. He knows your needs and He has already put a plan in place to meet them. Instead, start talking to Him about the things He drawn your attention to. Ask Him to show you what step you should take today, then what step to take tomorrow, and the next day. It won’t be long and you’ll see Him using you to impact the very thing that He put on your heart to change. Don’t allow what you feel like you need to keep you from what He has called you to notice. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
