Many people fail to experience the blessings that come with giving because they’ve bought into the lie that ‘bigger is better’. They look at what they see others giving and feel like what they have to offer is of little or no significance. This is exactly what the your enemy wants you to think because in doing so you’ll never see the principle of sowing and reaping manifest in your life. No harvest has ever been gathered without a seed being planted first. Knowing this should make you eager to get something put in the ground. Think about it like this, $5 in motion is more valuable than $500 with no meaning. In other words, a small amount sown has more potential than large amount never put to use. Even if it seems meager or minute, God is the the Master Multiplier and He never looks with disdain or disappointment upon someone who is acting upon their faith. He is waiting with great anticipation to bless the seed that you sow. When you operate according to the Bible, in His eyes, it’s big deal. So get rid of the idea that ‘bigger is better’ and take on the mindset that ‘Biblical is Better’. God has never, one time, not honored His Word. When you operate according to it, you open up a door through which He can bring the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom into your life. So if lies and ignorance in the area of giving have kept you from experiencing the joy comes from a lifestyle of generosity, expose them to the light of His truth.
