Graveside service for Wesley Freeman Ethridge, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Brashear Cemetery with Bro. Charles Ethridge officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Gregg, Andy Crouch, Mark Wallace, Mark Copeland, Will Ethridge, Aiden Ethridge, Clay Randolph, and John Elmore. Visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at West Oaks Funeral Home. Wesley passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Harvey Julias Ethridge and Opal Irene Boykin Ethridge. He worked For Rockwell for 25 years, was a Dairyman, and worked at Lowes for 11 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs. Wesley married Carolyn Sartin on January 10, 1964, and she preceded him in death in 2015. He is survived by sons, Keith Ethridge and wife Tammy of Greenville, and Brad Ethridge and wife Kristi of McKinney, God-daughters, Shari Randolph, and Christa Elmore, brothers, Charles Ethridge, Carroll Ethridge, Richard Ethridge, and Johnny Ethridge, sister, Judy Reed, grandchildren, Will Ethridge, Whitney Ethridge, Kailey Cotter, Francis Ethridge, Shelby Polk, Aiden Ethridge, Joanna Ethridge, Jase Ethridge, and Jaleyann Ethridge, great-grandchild Kaley Ann Rickabaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ray Ethridge. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
