2019 Hopkins County Fall Festival Seeking Nominations for Outstanding “Senior Citizen Volunteer” Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2019 Hopkins County Fall Festival Outstanding “Senior Citizen Volunteer” Awards.┬áDo you know a Male Senior Citizen over age 50 that is currently volunteering somewhere in Hopkins County? Do you know a Female Senior Citizen over age 50 that is currently volunteering somewhere in Hopkins County? The 2019 Hopkins County Fall Festival Board is looking for these Senior Citizens to recognize with an award on Tuesday, October 22″d , on “Senior Citizen’s Day” during the 50″ Anniversary of Hopkins County Fall Festival week.

These awards will recognize the vital roles of “Senior Volunteers” across Hopkins County. “Senior Volunteers” carry out the mission of providing vital services for many programs and businesses throughout Hopkins County.

Use the attached form or a separate sheet of paper, and tell us about the Senior Citizen(s) that you think should qualify to win one of these awards. Feel free to discuss your nomination with this person and collect any additional information that will help us find two deserving winners of these prestigious awards.

Winners will be recognized on Tuesday, October 22nd during “Senior Citizens Day” at the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center 150 Martin Luther King Blvd. Their names and photos will be in the Newspaper, Front Porch News and Announced over the radio.

We want them to be recognized as much as possible for all of their Hard Work and Dedication in our Community.
