Sulphur Springs Branch Wins Airgas’ National Branch of the Year Award

A local gas, welding and safety distributor has earned the National Branch of the Year award from its company, Airgas, an Air Liquide company. Selected among more than 900 Airgas branches across the country, the Sulphur Springs. TX branch was selected as one of four national branches of the year, an award in its 15th year celebrating excellence in customer service, safety and financial performance.
The two-person Sulphur Springs team continues to grow thanks to their passion for serving customers. The branch’s strong financial results stems from the team’s ‘safety first’ mindset while being customer service focused. Thanks to a ‘can do’ attitude, the team has enjoyed year-over-year growth and exceeded their safety and financial goals.
The Sulphur Springs branch became part of the Airgas family in May of 1997 through the acquisition of a local distributor, NETOX. The current branch manager and driver have been with Airgas since then.
Airgas senior leaders visited the N Hillcrest Drive branch in August to celebrate the branch’s success and to personally congratulate associates. The branch received a National Cylinder Branch of the Year trophy made from a platinum-coated cylinder. Additionally, each branch associate received a personalized award ring commemorating the achievement.
This friendly and hardworking pair partners with a cross-functional team of Airgas associates in the region to address customers’ needs. Always willing to go the extra mile, this branch proved to be very deserving of this year’s award.
