Hopkins County Sheriff Lewis Tatum Releases Statement Thanking Those Involved in Search for Missing Person Friday Night

Hopkins County Sheriff Lewis Tatum released the following statement thanking persons involved in locating a missing elderly person Friday night:
Hopkins County Sheriff Lewis Tatum would like to thank all the persons involved in the hunt for the missing person on August 23rd, 2019.
A report of a missing person came in to the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 8:53 p.m. in reference to a missing older male subject in the southern part of Hopkins County.
First of all, I would like to thank the family and the civilians on scene for assisting us.
The gentleman was located at 1:30 am and transported by Hopkins County EMS.
Personnel that contributed to the effort were:
TDCJ Choice Moore Unit-Blood Hound: Sgt. Williams, Officer Perry, and Officer Doran.
SSPD: K-9 Buddy Williams
DPS: Trooper Hanna and Trooper Gillintine
Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office: Lieutenant Weatherford, Sargeant Shaw, Chief Investigator Weatherford, Investigator Findley, Communications Supervisor David Ray, Dispatcher Brandice Rodgers, and Dispatcher Catlyan Wilson.
