Philippians 2:14-15
14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

You hear it all the time… ‘Attitude is everything.’ Whether it be in sports, your job, or even in how you deal with what goes on in your home, the attitude in which something is done makes a lot of difference. When life gets mundane and the daily grind seems to get more and more tedious, it’s easy to become ungrateful and sour. Throw in the occasional run in with your boss, co-worker, or family member and keeping a positive attitude can seem nearly impossible. In times when keeping a good attitude is difficult and gratitude is hard to muster up, it’s important to remember that attitudes are more caught than taught. Who you allow to have influence in your life can contribute greatly to the attitude you bear. Negativity is contagious but so is positivity. When you are aligned with someone who has a bad attitude it can be difficult to keep it from rubbing off on you. While no one is immune to the negative, you can make it your purpose to be a beacon of joy and gladness. Challenge yourself to be a source of goodness. Rather than allowing a negative attitude to come upon you, purpose to let your positive attitude which is based upon the joy of the Lord be the main source of influence wherever you’re at. Whatever you need to accomplish will get accomplished. You can choose to enjoy it or you can choose to trudge through it and be miserable. It really is a matter of choice. Tell your mind which attitude you are going to take, if you don’t it will most always choose the negative. The light in which you choose to walk may just be the hope someone around you needs to keep on going. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
