Funeral service for Mary Helen Harrell, age 89, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. C.J. Duffy and Bro. B.J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Eddie Earl Morton, Steven Starks, Joel McKinney, Mason Morton, Mark Morton, and John Rhodes serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Couples Class. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., prior to service time. Helen passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Carriage House Manor. She was born on November 14, 1929 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of James Earl and Evie Melton Frazier. She worked as a clerk for Super Handy Convenient Store for many years. She married Delbert R. Harrell on January 1, 1950 in Dallas. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of Davis Street Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Danny Harrell of Austin, daughter, Linda Bursell and husband George of Plains, Montana, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Helen is preceded in death by brother, James Frazier, and sisters, Merl White and Jenita Morton Cegelski.
