Saturday, May 4th

Ephesians 5:27 (The Passion Translation)
All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw.

Revelation 19:7 (The Passion Translation)
Let us rejoice and exalt him and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come. And his bride has made herself ready.

When you ask people about the rapture of the church you’ll find that most people have the idea that He’s coming back on a rescue mission. They paint a picture of the Church being overwhelmed by all of the evils in the world and on the brink of annihilation and Jesus swoops in and snatches her from the clutches of defeat just in the knick of time. This is not the bride that the Bible describes Him coming for. The bride that Jesus is expecting and waiting on is mature—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw. A bride who has made herself ready. In other words, He’s coming to receive a church that on the offensive, out being the true Body of Christ the world. A bride who has driven the enemy out of her churches and homes, is reaching lost, and has moved beyond division and divisiveness. When He catches her away to join Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, He won’t have to take her to get a makeover on the way, she will already be prepared and dressed for the occasion…clothed in His glory. Despite what you may have heard or are currently seeing, His church will become who she is supposed to be and His catching away of her will be amazing. Are you ready? Not are you saved, but are you ready? Are you allowing Him to groom you into the bride that He’s looking for? Jesus is waiting for His Church to make herself ready. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

Join us this Saturday, May 4th at 7pm for this month’s Upper Room gathering in the TWBC Worship Center.
We are going to be focussing the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Whether you’re already Spirit-filled or are in need of some teaching on what receiving this powerful gift is all about, you will not want to miss this intimate time as we enjoy the Presence of God together as family.
