Exodus 6:6-7
6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. 7 I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

If you take the time to look you will see that God’s plan, method, and purpose of redemption has been the same since very beginning. Today’s text is just one of many that prove this point. God saves, delivers, redeems, and glorifies. At your conversion, when you received Him as your Savior, He, at that moment, brought you out of the kingdom of darkness and into His. From that point on you were as ‘saved’ as you could ever be. From there, He begins to delivering you from those things in your life that you had picked up along the way. Those habits, addictions, hurts, and characteristics that don’t line up with Kingdom life that He intends for you to walk in, He begins removing from your life. As those things are being removed He to redeems, or restores, the you that He had made you to be in the first place. As all of this is taking place simultaneously in your life and the new you begins to emerge, He reveals Himself and His glory through the sanctified, delivered, and redeemed life that you’re now experiencing. This may sound like an overwhelming and maybe even impossible process, especially if you’ve been struggling in some areas. But know this, it’s as easy as saying yes to the Holy Spirit when He nudges you and saying no to those things that He convicts you of. Your Father God intends to make Himself and His glory known and He has every intention using you to do it. Continue to lean on and press into Him and you’ll get to enjoy watching yourself grow and flourish into who He’s created you to be. – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff

Join us this Saturday, May 4th at 7pm for this month’s Upper Room gathering in the TWBC Worship Center.
We are going to be focussing the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Whether you’re already Spirit-filled or are in need of some teaching on what receiving this powerful gift is all about, you will not want to miss this intimate time as we enjoy the Presence of God together as family.
